Founded in 1954 as Macedonia Church of the Living God and renamed New Macedonia Worship Center in 2024. We are a faith community dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and fostering a transformative impact on individuals and society. We are an independent, non-denominational church located in the beautiful city of Leesburg, Florida!

My friends, we want you to know that the churches in Macedonia have shown others God’s gift of undeserved grace. Although they were going through hard times and were very poor, they were glad to give generously. They gave as much as they could afford and even more, simply because they wanted to. They even asked and begged us to let them have the joy of giving their money for God’s people. And they did more than we had hoped. OUR LEADERSHIP Elder Dr. Shelia Y. Smalley, Senior Pastor

On May 18, 2013, Elder Dr. Shelia Y. Smalley was installed as Pastor of Macedonia Church of the Living God (CLG) renamed to New Macedonia Worship Center in 2024. Elder Dr. Smalley is a third generation Pastor of Macedonia CLG. Elder Dr. Smalley accepted her call to the ministry in July 1978 and was ordained in the Church of the Living God Florida State Assembly, April 1982. Sharing her various talents and skills, Elder Dr. Smalley has served her local, state, and national churches in various capacities.
